Job: Out of the Gutter Official title: Manager. Co-Workers: NA Notes: Rose worked here from when she first arrived on the island, hired by Vala and appointed 'Marketing Manager', mostly because it sounded super fancy. Upon her return, Rose was asked to take over running OOTG and will receive all profits made from the business. Unfortunately, said business has no staff and with it comes responsibility for Dodo, the bowling alley cat.

Living Situation

Rose owns a warehouse on the border of second and third district down by the docks/shipyard. She had been slowly fixing it up into an apartment upstairs and a sparring gym downstairs. Since her return to the island, she lives in the cabin that Jake Sully left her and has continued to do some work on the warehouse and stays there when she wants some quiet time. Notes: TBA The Cabin: A Cabin on the outskirts of the island near the Forest. The house and contents were left to her by Jake Sully when he left the island. The house was purpose built for wheelchair access so all doorways and hallways are wider than the standard and all bench tops are several inches lower. Tennants: NA

Assets

The Doll House: A one third share in The Doll House, a strip club that Oliver Queen started with Kenzi morethanasidekick and Jesse Pinkman. Oliver left his share of the business to Rose when he left the island. Rose continues to earn a dividend of the profits and is on hand should anything be needed but is, for the most part, a silent partner.

General Routine

“I'm really not good with impulse control.”

Every morning without fail, Rose will go for a run that covers the better part of second district and circles up and around the Palace in the first district. Anyone who has seen her will note that this isn't a casual run. She pushes herself regardless of weather and fatigue and her attire will always suggest that she doesn't care what she looks like. She's not the type to use her run as an excuse to pick up men. If you want to talk to her while she's running, you'd best join her. When not at work, home, Rose can often be found at one of several locations on the island, almost all of which in some way relate to her training. There is an old sparring dummy that has been hammered into the ground between second and third district. When she needs to clear her head and wishes to avoid being found by people she knows, she'll go here and take out her frustrations on the decayed padding. For the most part however, she spends her time at The Red Moon Dojo in the Third District. She usually trains alone but will never turn down the opportunity to spar. It should however be noted that if you do spar with Rose, she won't hold back and she will become angry if she feels that you are. A rather surprising fact given her seeming lack of religious faith; Rose can irregularly be seen at the Chapel on a Sunday. She doesn't seem to pay attention to anything that is being said. She always sits in the very back and it's not uncommon for her to walk out in the middle of the service, not because she has taken offence to the sermon but because she's gotten all that she needs out of it. Her appearances here are very rare and when she does show up, it is fair to say that she is troubled about something and it shows. Off time is rarely spent at bars or cafe's. She might on the odd occasion grab breakfast at The Cats Eye Cafe in Second District but is hardly a regular fixture. More often than not this follows her jog and she'll opt for an outside table on account of the being sweaty and gross (as she puts it). If she's looking to drink she's more likely to take advantage of the bar at Out if the Gutter because Vala doesn't make her pay (well most of the time). The only other place you might catch her is the Hot Springs by the Forest of Passions. She prefers to come here alone and will often turn back if people are already there, but won't ignore anyone that wishes to join. Its merely her place to soak and relax in peace.

Timeline

February 2012: Rose arrives in Atia, takes a job at Out of The Gutter and moves into an Apartment with Katniss Everdeen. She and Katniss adopt a kitten which they named Malishka aka Mali (Russian for Little Girl). March, 2012: Dimitri appears in Atia. (N.B: As Dimitri was only in play for approximately a week or two, Rose believes that his appearance in Atia was unlikely to be him and more likely to be a trick played by Atia.) Rose attends Finnick's house-warming party, during a game of I never never he makes a comment she takes very much to heart due to her former relationship with Dimitri, and throws a drink in his face and storms out. April, 2012: Rose finds herself cursed and believing she's Married to Finnick Odair. When the curse ends, Rose has full memory not only of their time together, but the false memories created by the curse itself. Finnick on the other hand doesn't and the two end up at each others throats once again. May, 2012: Rose and Finnick end up stuck in the Forest of Mirrors searching for Katniss where they have sex for the first time without a curse to drive them. They continue to bicker with each other all month until finally admitting they have real feelings for each other and start dating. June, 2012: First month of Finnick and Rose dating. A sickness sweeps the island, causing many of the collared residents to fall violently ill. Rose and Finnick think all is fine until Finnick wakes up one morning with an extremely high fever. She calls Jake Sully to ask for his help but before he can arrive, Finnick dies in her arms. Jake helps her get through the next few days and she is there waiting for him at Thanatos' temple when he awakens. July, 2012: Rose asks Atia for a favor so that Jake will be able to walk again. The favor is granted but the price? Rose's collar would tighten at twice the normal speed and her collar could only be loosened by strangers. This hits her hard and she is afraid that Finnick won't understand. He however is extremely supportive, even helping her to plan out her loosenings. Katniss on the other hand was angry at Rose for doing something that would hurt Finnick. Rose took great offense to what was said and all but moved into the Beach House with Finnick, Peeta and Kitty. August, 2012: Still trying to deal with her favor penalty, the mental stress starts to take its toll on Rose. Finnick ends up trapped in the Forest and without his support, Rose struggles to get through the weeks without him. He returns towards the end of the month but has certainly been altered by his time there. She and Katniss manage to mend their friendship and Rose returns to their apartment but there is still some strain between the two. Things worsen for Finnick with the arrival of Johanna, forcing him to deal with too many bad memories from home. He becomes somewhat withdrawn and Rose, though at first aware of the problem doesn't know what to do about it. Things get much worse when, on the very last day of her penalty, she goes out for a quiet drink and wakes up the next morning blindfolded, restrained and left naked in the stall of a public restroom. She does go to a Doctor (Caroline) to confirm that she was drugged and get checked over but refuses to tell anyone what happened to her. She becomes very on edge and withdraws from those close to her but given Finnick's own worries, he doesn't see what is happening with Rose. September, 2012: On the back of dealing with the attack, Rose wakes up one morning to discover that Finnick isn't only missing, but that he has left the island. For the next two weeks she struggles greatly to come to terms with this, finding some comfort in her new friendship with Erik, he having only just lost Megan. She feels guilt over the distance bwteen her and Finnick before he left and when he returns, she thinks she's finally got a chance to make up for lost time. He reveals to her that when he was home, he married Annie Cresta, a woman who Rose knew of, but had no idea just how serious their relationship had been. Rose thinks that all she can do is end things with Finnick, only the two can't even manage to be separated for 24 hours before she is back in his arms again. October, 2012: Rose tries to make peace with the fact that Finnick is married to somebody else but after several weeks of trying to make it work, she puts an end to their relationship, feeling she needs time away from him to try and sort out her feelings, especially with everything that had happened at the end of August. She in turn decides to move out of the apartment she shares with Katniss, needing to be on her own so that she can sort herself out. Rose buys an old warehouse by the docks on the border of second and third districts which she hopes to make livable, sure that doing so will help keep her busy. Katniss doesn't understand why Rose wants to leave and in an effort to try and goad her into talking it out, she threatens to cook and eat their cat... Suffice to say, after everything that has happened, Rose loses all patience and cuts ties with Katniss as well. If all this is not enough, Rose has still been trying to piece together the events that surrounded her attack, returning to the restrooms in the hopes it would jog her memory. She comes in one day to find Chloe reliving that moment, questions if it's her and Chloe admits to being the culprit. Fueled by rage, Rose attacks Chloe and a bitter fight ensues, one that ends in the death of the other woman. Rose remains in the bathroom, watching her body disappear before going home, patching herself up and pretending that nothing had happened (as best she can). The only person who knows she was in a fight is Erik, he comes and sees her days after the fight, though she won't tell him what happened. Rose now has a knife wound scar on her write wrist and a knick at the bottom of the left side of her ribcage. November, 2012: Rose tries to move on from the darkness that has encompassed her these last few months, noticeably withdrawn from her close friends but the final blow comes when Jake, only a month after having regained his ability to walk, leaves Atia. He leaves her his house and all his possessions, but Rose isn't sure what to do with any of it, hoping he will return like Finnick had. He doesn't however and Rose runs into Finnick where he is tending bar. The two clearly miss one another but do not talk openly about it, using Rose's cat, who is currently staying at Finnick's as an excuse for them to see each other again. Thanksgiving comes and Rose is invited to spend it with the Stargate Team, which is how she learns that Oliver has been dating Vala's Daughter Adria. This results in high tensions and an eventual argument between the two, Rose angry that Oliver didn't tell her about it because of her connection to Vala and because she thinks, to be honest, that Adria is a crazy bitch based on what she has heard from Vala of her behavior before coming to the island. Rose won't admit that she is in many ways jealous, fearing she will lose Oliver the same way she lost Finnick, Jake, and even Dimitri before coming to Atia herself. December, 2012:Another marriage curse hits the island and this time Rose finds herself fake married to Oliver, the two being the epitome of sickeningly cute, preparing for Christmas together and transforming Rose's warehouse into something more like a home. Though the aftermath is certainly awkward, it's not quite the same as it had been when she and Finnick had been together. It does help them to mend their friendship however and though Rose won't admit it, she can accept that she does love Oliver in her own way and also better understand how Finnick can love both her and Annie at the same time as a result. With Malishka as the excuse, Rose goes to the Beach House to see her cat and talk to Finnick and the feelings she has tried to deny, are still as strong as ever. Despite an almost tense and awkward start, the two come together again and Rose promises Finnick that she will not leave him again. January, 2013: Rose and Finnick start to settle back into life as a couple again, though this time they seem to be taking things a little slower. Rose is determined not to become as reliant on Finnick as she had before, spending as many nights at home as she does at the Beach House. This is the first relatively low key month for Rose and she enjoyed life having a semblance of normality to it, which included a couple of weeks of Rose taking care of a sick Finnick, though this time without his fever becoming fatal. February, 2013: What better way to kick off your one year anniversary on the island than with the arrival of your ex - the man you believed was the love of your life... Right up until he told you he'd given up on you and wanted nothing to do with you. It's been a lot to process for Rose, who has had to try and confront the feelings that never went away as well as the ones she has for Finnick now. She and Dimitri are trying to be just friends, but it's definitely complicated. The end of the month dealt Rose not one but three blows with Katniss, Peeta and Oliver returning home. If all that wasn't enough, an enemy who meant Elena harm arrived, sent Rose (With Dimitri at her side) into full on Guardian Mode. March, 2013: It became evident only too quickly that having Dimitri sleeping on her couch wasn't going to be a good thing for the two of them, not with Rose in a relationship with Finnick. After an accidental video of Finnick stripping for Rose appears on the network, and an argument that turns into a number of major confessions (Including Rose finally coming clean about her attack many months ago), it's finally decided that the right thing, is for Dimitri to move out of the warehouse, and into the apartment that Rose owns. In the meantime, Rose has other concerns, like the fact that Chloe is on trial for murder and the lawyer that is representing Chloe (Lindsey) is fast becoming a major pain in her ass. April, 2013: The month where everything starts to go to hell on the island more or less. Soon after Rose overhears a particularly damning conversation between Boyd & Vala, the temple of Thanatos gets blown up, releasing spirits and veritable nightmares on the people of Atia. To make matters worse, Rose, Finnick, Elena and Dimitri end up living together in the cabin to avoid the spirits and Rose discovers that Finnick had sex with somebody else. (What she doesn't know is that said somebody else, is Elena.) Katniss returns to Atia with no memories of being on the island and Finnick takes a trip to the forest soon after revealing that he dies and has a child with Annie back home. Did I forget to mention the close sexual encounters of the Dimitri kind to boot? May, 2013: Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, Adrian - believing he and Rose are together shows up on the island. If that wasn't bad enough, the island is going to war and Rose is going to be in the trenches alongside everyone else. Finnick - who she has barely spoken to in the last month and a half turns up to discover Adrian living in the cabin and the two have an extremely heated argument that results in her both throwing Finnick out of the house and the two of them presumably break up. On the back of this, Chloe contacts Rose in some deluded attempt to make amends which leads Rose to do something completely insane during the war that very nearly gets her killed. When she wakes up, Dimitri is standing watch over her and Finnick is nowhere to be found. June, 2013: Love is in the air - literally everywhere that Rose turns because both Vala AND Saphira are getting married this month. In the meantime, she's focusing on trying to heal from her injuries during the war, which involves an awful lot of Dimitri watching her like a hawk and forcing her to take it easy. Rose fulfills her bridesmaid duties while putting her feet up and attempts to settle into a relatively normal life. Adrian's stay in Atia ends up being short-lived and he returns home with the friendship in shambles. July, 2013: So this is what normality feels like - or at least as close to normal as it ever gets for Rose. August, 2013: Rose returns home. August, 2014: Rose is brought back to Atia and discovers that almost everyone she was close to on the island has left. She stays with Saphira and her daughter Arya while she cleans up the cabin. Most of her memories of her previous stay remain though much of what happened after the war and anything relating to Dimitri is at best, hazy. With Vala being gone, she arranges for Leonardo Da Vinci to paint Vala's portrait so it can hang at the Alley alongside Bosco's. September, 2014: Rose is given responsibility of Out of The Gutter, the bowling alley she worked at under Vala from her previous stay in Atia. The Alley now has no staff and a lot of things are broken thanks to Vala's habit of breaking things so Rodney would have something to fix. Despite warning Derek Hale against going into the forest to look for Stiles, she ends up helping him search the perimeter and she herself gets pulled in for several weeks. October, 2014:

Sex & Relationships

Though Rose was sexually active before coming to Atia, her experience was far from extensive (In other words, she didn't get around). She is a flirt by nature and having been raised in an environment where she was one of the only females so when she chooses it to be, innuendo is almost her second-language. Though you wouldn't go so far as to say that she is all talk, no action, she doesn't always mean for her flirtations to be taken so literally, which often lands her in a hole. That being said, if the attraction is there then she won't back down. If it's not, she'll still flirt, but she'll have no issues making it clear it's never really going to happen. When she first arrived in Atia, Rose struggled greatly with the idea of having sexual encounters with strangers, the idea that sex could no longer have any meaning and as such, always sought connections with people that ran deeper, even leading to several long term relationships in her time on the island. It's these long term relationships however that have seen a change in Rose who now tries her best to disconnect her heart from the act. It's easier said than done but she's like;y to cut and run if she starts to feel something for somebody as she has it in her head that they're only going to leave. Despite this shift, she's still not going to sleep with just anyone. The attraction needs to be there or she won't do it. That being said, if she had a friend in need of help then it would be a different matter, but if she thinks you're an ass, she'll tell you to go to Mao rather than help you. A bleeding heart, she is not. When it comes to the act itself, Rose likes to be in control and sex with her tends to be almost aggressive in nature, depending on her partner. She's not the girl that is going to lay back and do nothing and as a general rule there is often a level of intensity involved whenever she has sex. She prefers somebody who will challenge her so despite a desire to be the dominant partner, there needs to be give and take.
