Thought that he'd get shrouded in his darkness even after he worked so hard to find happiness here. For some time he thought Rumpelstiltskin had bested him again.

Killian lifts both hands to wrap around her sides. Slowly he nods as he tries to force his head to wrap around the fact that he's not her burden. Not like this. Not ever. Even if there's still a part of him that believes that he is then he'll work harder to not be. He'll work extra to make sure she understands that she comes first no matter what.
