I guess Rose caught a game on TV once because she knows what that means at least (int 15) and yet she's still eyeing the table like it's going to attack at any moment, circling it to where the white ball is set and ready to go.
Still holding the cue like a club, she lines up and blindly (Wis 6) smashes (Str 21) the white ball, sending it flying off the side of the table and watching as it ricochets back into the triangle of colored balls. (Dex 15 - I figure that earns her some ass over class).
She's 90 percent sure she's doing it wrong but a 100 percent sure she doesn't care because she made things happen.]

Tension still draws her shoulders up, fingers cutting into the wood of the bar like she might try and break off a piece but it eases a little as his words sound in her head and she allows herself to turn and face him again, not as good at putting up a wall as he is at seeing over it.
On the surface he'd see her embarrassment, that flare of irritation used to mask the frustration at not knowing how to do something that people like Dean take for granted and yet, it's more than that, not just a bruised ego right now but a renewed feeling of being a disappointment to anyone unlucky enough to be landed with the responsibility of trying to teach her something.
