[Rose and Christmas. Not two things that really go hand in hand. Mostly she's just kind of lost as to how the Holiday works on a grand scale for most people. She gets it, in theory but having little to no experience with the celebration personally? This is the first time she's ever really had to put some serious thought and effort into things and even then, she's not entirely sure she's going about it the right way but whenever she tried to think about the holiday in relation to her and Dean, this was what she came back to and this was not something that could be achieved on her own.
Reaching out to Sam? She wasn't sure if there was ever going to be a time when she wasn't wary about Dean's bro-not-bro, mostly because of the promise she'd made to Dean; That she'd look out for him while he looked out for Sam but that didn't mean she couldn't try at least, mostly because Rose was beginning to see that part of being with Dean meant co-existing with Sam so lets call this Rose's attempt to bond.
The fact that Sam was six foot forever and would have an easier time carrying a tree than she would?! Yeah might have had a little something to do with it as well.
Anyway! She's waiting for Sam where she'd asked him to meet her, having told him it was something to do with a present for Dean but failing to go into any sort of details as to what it was she was doing, just that she needed his help and it would take a few hours. She may or may not (she totally does) have a danish in her hand but Sam has probably been around her enough of late to expect little else. This is how she managed to get uber baked on Djinn brownies after all.]
